Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description We are seeking a Production Technician to support our production lines by efficiently managing fluids and chemicals. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment. You will be responsible for cleaning metal shavings from machine hoppers, checking and maintaining proper fluid levels, and performing fluid and oil changes as needed. Responsibilities Clean metal shavings from machine hoppers. Check and refill coolant and fluid levels to maintain proper levels. Perform fluid and oil changes on production equipment. Monitor and track fluid levels accurately. Transport samples to the lab for testing and analysis. Maintain documentation using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely. Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals. Stay on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or production environments. Ability to work independently. Computer skills. Military experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a heavy industrial environment with a team of three, with plans for growth. Shift hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm, with a schedule of four days on and four days off. Initial training occurs Monday through Friday on the day shift. Safety attire includes a hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, long sleeve pants, and a long sleeve shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
