POSITION DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and tracking of all processing, and equipment job setup. Lead scrap and downtime reduction efforts on shift. Maintain all processes within established parameters and approve all changes made during your shift on the 906. Initiate and approve all jobs are set up in compliance with the 906 & 901. Ensure effective consumption of regrind is considered when applicable. Continual communication with Production staff to ensure runtime is in line with scheduled production. Report all downtime, job change problems, process, and out of control conditions occurring during the shift to the production staff / Technical Manager. Other assignments as designated by the Technical Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong leadership ability and a high degree of ethical and professional standards. Must be trusted by subordinates, peers, and superiors, and must be willing to accept responsibility for their performance. Ability to communicate effectively with the Technical Manager, as well as with other staff members and production personnel. Strong problem-solving skills of both the interpersonal and the technical side of the operation. Organized and structured approach to the work environment, with strong attention to details. Strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Ability to handle stressful employee situations, and to treat people with respect. Ability to excel in a team-based environment. Ability to perform in a proactive mode, and to plan and respond accordingly. Must have a strong background in injection molding processing. Setup and maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to drive forklift.
