Jeffersonville, IN Compensation:

$25 per hour About Outsourced Power Coating Outsourced Powder Coating (OPC) is a regional provider of powder coating services. OPC is seeking a dependable, technically minded Operator/Technician to help operate and maintain our new automated powder coating line located inside a customer manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality, safety, cleanliness, and production performance. The right candidate will be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and capable of working with limited supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor automated powder coating equipment and production line processes Run and monitor powder coating booths, including color changes Perform quality inspections and production quality checks Perform titrations and process checks on the 7-stage washer system Operate and monitor the automated wastewater treatment system Support production start-up and shutdown procedures Assist maintenance personnel with weekly preventative maintenance and equipment repairs Maintain housekeeping standards and support the facility's 6S program Communicate and interact professionally with customer personnel inside the facility Monitor production schedules and help ensure daily production goals and metrics are achieved Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities Assist with new product development and process improvements when needed Qualifications Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred Powder coating, paint line, or automated process experience is a plus Basic mechanical and technical aptitude required Comfortable learning process controls, chemical systems, and production equipment Self-starter, able to work independently and make sound decisions Strong attention to detail and quality Punctual, dependable, and mature work ethic Safety conscious with good housekeeping habits Able to work in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Regular walking throughout the facility Periodic climbing, bending, and reaching What We Offer Brand-new equipment and facility Opportunity to grow with a new operation from the ground up Stable and team-oriented work environment Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement and skill development
