This role requires operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated and semi‑automated production equipment. Operators ensure efficient, high‑quality output by following established procedures, safety protocols, and workplace policies. Candidates must be able to stand for the entire shift and perform physical labor as part of daily operations. Primary Responsibilities Prepare silicon wafers through cleaning, texturing, and doping processes. Monitor high‑temperature furnace operations to introduce dopants and apply metal contacts. Perform etching and coating using chemical baths and deposition tools to create anti‑reflective coatings and passivation layers. Operate screen printing equipment to apply conductive pastes, followed by curing and drying steps. Conduct electrical and optical testing (e.g., IV curve measurements, electroluminescence imaging) to verify product quality. Operate solar cell manufacturing tools such as PECVD, PVD, laser scribing systems, edge processing tools, screen printers, automated inspection systems, and related equipment. Support the manufacturing of monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon solar cells. Assist with product development, process improvements, and equipment optimization to enhance efficiency, yield, and overall performance. Participate in pilot production runs for new technology generations (e.g., PERC, TOPCon, HJT). Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen activities. Follow all health, safety, and workplace procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environment. Qualifications & Experience Ability to work continental shifts. High school diploma or equivalent. Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, walk, and stand for the entire shift . Comfortable performing physical labor and working in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
