Job Title:
Process Technician $21.75-26/hour based on experience Job Description We are seeking dedicated Process Technician and Tooling Technicians to monitor and operate equipment, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production. The role involves performing start-up, shutdown, and cycling procedures for the entire thermoforming line, troubleshooting and correcting issues to minimize downtime and scrap, and maintaining quality standards through in-process checks and documentation. Responsibilities Monitor and operate Thermoform equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production. Perform start-up, shutdown, and cycling procedures for the entire thermoforming line, including extruder, former, and trim press. Troubleshoot and correct issues on the line to reduce downtime and scrap. Complete line changeovers and ensure all related documentation is filled out correctly. Support QA by verifying product specs and documenting rejected data when required. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED required. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues. Dependable work history with strong attendance and punctuality. Safety gear including eye protection, ear protection, hair net, smock, and bump cap is required. The 2nd shift runs from 3PM-11:30PM and the 3rd shift runs from 11pm to 7:30am. Dress code permits jeans/shorts, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes, with no jewelry allowed. No food, gum, or drinks other than water are permitted on the production floor Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
