Monday - Friday 6:00am - 5:30pm Job Summary As a Processing Operator at Strong Spirits, you will play a key role in the blending and distillation operations for custom alcoholic beverages. This hands-on position is responsible for unloading liquid products, blending ingredients to client specifications, filtering and distilling final products, and conducting alcohol proof testing in compliance with TTB regulations. You'll work with various mechanical systems, chillers, and filtration equipment to ensure product quality and process efficiency. A strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality are essential in this role. Core Responsibilities Unload liquid products from tankers, barrels, and holding tanks Filter products using appropriate filtration systems Blend liquid materials to meet designated specifications Perform mathematical calculations for accurate alcohol proofing Follow TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) proofing regulations Monitor equipment; distill and test liquids for water quality, filtration efficiency, and alcohol levels Clean tanks of various sizes and maintain sanitary processing conditions Prepare, proof, package, and label client samples Complete accurate documentation of all processing activities and maintain product traceability Communicate effectively with the bottling team and production line Adhere to Strong Spirits' Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Perform other duties as assigned by the Processing and Warehouse Supervisor or management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in blending, distilling, or alcohol proofing preferred Mechanically inclined; capable of operating pumps, motors, valves, chillers, filtration systems, and hand tools Strong math skills for proofing and measurement accuracy Exceptional attention to detail Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks Flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing production environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Fast-paced environment in office, warehouse, and industrial settings Exposure to hazardous materials (alcohol, chemicals), loud noise, and fluctuating temperatures (moderate heat/cold) Frequent physical activities including standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift with minimal breaks Some overtime may be required Capable of kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing ladders or platforms Comfortable working around alcohol and flammable liquids Must be able to visually inspect products for quality assurance
