Job Description
Process Technician (Plastics Injection Molding Experience Required) 2nd & 3rd shifts available!! 2nd: 2pm - 10pm 3rd: 10pm - 6am Starting at $24/hr!
SUMMARY:
This position has responsibility for assuring that changeovers of presses and secondary equipment are completed and functioning properly before handing over to production operators.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILTIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Clean and clock molds at regular intervals.
- Changes molds and secondary equipment on a pre-scheduled basis, or when called for based on observation.
- Provides appropriate maintenance to molds and secondary equipment on a regular schedule.
- Performs repairs to molds as needed.
- Coordinates activities with Production Supervisor and Production Manager to minimize downtime.
- Completing production PM's as required.
- General repairs to presses and secondary equipment.
- Addresses scrap and productivity issues.
- Write and follow up on work orders.
- Removes scrap at the end of the shift.
- Troubleshooting rubber processing issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, plus a minimum of six months experience on a rubber injection press.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch.
- The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
