BATTERY TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR

Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Battery Technician Supervisor to lead our battery testing and maintenance operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee testing procedures, supervise test operators, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. Your expertise in lithium-ion batteries, electrical systems, equipment repair, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and reliability across our battery testing facilities. Responsibilities Supervise daily testing activities of lithium-ion batteries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Lead a team of technicians in performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on battery systems and associated equipment Utilize hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively Conduct inspections using low and high voltage testers, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate battery health, performance and integrity Oversee the use of computer hardware and software for data collection, analysis, and reporting of test results Ensure proper documentation of testing procedures, maintenance logs, and repair activities in compliance with company policies Train team members on safety procedures, technical skills, and proper use of testing equipment to foster a knowledgeable workforce Maintain and repair proprietary test equipment for lithium-ion batteries, perform quality control checks to verify functionality and compliance. Collaborate with engineering and test teams to identify issues, enhance tester on-time and improve processes
Preferred Skills:
Proven experience as a service technician or in a related field service role involving electrical or mechanical systems Strong hands-on skills with hand tools, schematics reading, and equipment repair techniques Familiarity with computer hardware, networking basics, and software used for data logging and analysis Knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems, circuit testing, and troubleshooting using multimeters or similar diagnostic tools Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical and electrical assembly, maintenance, or equipment repair is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining safety standards Join us in this exciting role where your technical expertise will power innovation!
