Job Overview:
The Tub Wash Operator is responsible for keeping all tubs clean/sanitized and ready for use in various production areas.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all tubs for use in production. Mix chemicals for use in cleaning equipment, following appropriate handling procedures for hazardous chemicals Assist Maintenance in completing routine Pic/Pec activities Unclogging drains as needed Cleaning hoses and nozzles Removing equipment covers for sanitation Repairing rack wheels as needed Follow all food safety (GMP) and general safety guidelines (LOTO & Haz-COM) Keep work area clean and free of clutter and debris
Qualifications:
Operate regular hoses (120 PSIs) and high-pressured hoses (2,000 PSIs) Operate pallet jacks and forklifts occasionally Complete hazardous chemical training (Haz-Com) Follow lock out procedures
