Job Description

Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The Wax Team creates and refines high-quality wax patterns for the lost-wax casting process. They use a variety of handheld tools, similar to dental instruments, to shape wax and plastic injections from molds. They will inspect the quality of pieces and remove any flaws from the patterns. The separate wax and plastic pieces are combined onto a common sprue rod to create a tree-like structure also used in the lost-wax casting process. As a Wax Support Technician , you'll handle various tasks to ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of manufacturing orders for cast products while maintaining inventory. Key Responsibilities Match requested products, materials, or supplies accurately for production floor use. Process fill lines for orders with specific requirements regarding count, size, and color. Process molds accurately for parts production in the Wax Department. Correctly fill orders for parts to be cast or stocked. Organize wax and plastic products effectively. Perform basic wax technician functions to support Wax and Casting departments. Complete manual paper processing operations for daily work tasks. Ensure quality assurance of wax and plastic patterns sent for manufacturing orders. Inspect parts for gross defects during quality checks. Verify receipt of products from Mexico sent to Stuller, Inc. Verify receipt and stocking or restocking of new and existing parts. Minimum Qualifications Ability to lift frequently and perform tasks requiring fingering and grasping. Capability to stoop, bend, and use ladders safely. Basic computer knowledge. Strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Good eyesight for detailed tasks. Demonstrated initiative and ability to collaborate in a team environment. Manual dexterity for handling delicate parts and tools.
