Job Description

Overview SNF is a specialty chemical group whose products, water-soluble polymers, contribute to treating, recycling, preserving water, saving energy, and reducing carbon footprint. Innovation and movement toward a cleaner, less carbon-intensive world accelerates SNF's growth. The Loader is responsible for packaging finished polyacrylamide powder into 50-55 lb. bags or bulk containers in accordance with customer and production requirements. This role operates bagging equipment, handles finished materials, performs product documentation, and supports safe and efficient plant operations while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. Responsibilities Ability to read and understand orders. Read, follow and understand bagging procedures. Operate and troubleshoot problems with bagging machines. Accurately log and retain data i.e. bag weight sheets, blend sheets, and Powder Plant Inspections. Ensure that finished product is packaged and labeled correctly. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Identify and understand properties and hazards of chemicals. Identify and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for process area. Understand and follow permit procedures i.e. confined space, hot work, and line break. Ability to identify, communicate and mitigate if possible, all unsafe behaviors, conditions and spills. Operate forklift and conduct forklift inspections Comply to all environmental regulations Demonstrate teamwork in completing field activities necessary to minimize downtime and achieve plant goals. Qualifications
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent - High School Diploma or
GED EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of relevant work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Demonstrated good stewardship skills (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Basic math, physical ability to lift 55 lbs. continuously throughout a 12-hr shift Basic computer skills for the purpose of recording data, accessing training, printing procedures, etc. Strong written and oral communications skills Ability to work rotating shift and overtime, as needed Ability to multi-task, must be a quick learner and adapt to change.
