Stoughton, Massachusetts Job Description As a Chemical Operator at our Stoughton, MA facility and play a critical role in supporting environmental field services, chemical distribution, and glycol blending operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in safety, organization, and operational efficiency. Essential Functions Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Receive, inspect, log, and properly store incoming chemical shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and regulatory compliance. Track inventory levels, perform routine cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and communicate restocking needs. Perform glycol blending operations in accordance with internal quality control procedures and ensure proper documentation of all blended batches. Collect, label, and maintain glycol batch samples for quality assurance and recordkeeping. Stage equipment, materials, drums, and totes in advance of field service jobs and outbound deliveries to ensure crew readiness. Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring correct packaging, labeling, and accessibility for transport. Maintain logs for warehouse and blending equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs as necessary. Collaborate with operations teams, field crews, purchasing, and customer service to ensure alignment between warehouse activities and business needs. Qualifications Experience working in a warehouse, chemical handling, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe handling procedures for chemicals and industrial materials. Experience with inventory management, material staging, and shipping/receiving processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly related to documentation and quality control. Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift and move materials in an industrial setting and work in a physically active environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with glycol blending, chemical distribution, or environmental services operations is highly preferred but not required.
Pay Range:
$28.00/hr. - $32.00/hr. (depending on experience) Now in our 4th decade, Resource Options, Inc.
