Production Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Fills all orders including store orders
• Read and follow production formulas including labeling, weights, lot numbers
• Pull raw materials/products from warehouse to fill orders
• Keep accurate production records
• Coordinate daily with Plant Manager to ensure production/order schedule is met
• Retrieve and return materials throughout the warehouse for production
• Does inventory when scheduled
• Works within other production/shipping departments when needed
• Follow good manufacturing procedures (GMP's)
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Some experience/knowledge of batch manufacturing within a flavor/chemical food/beverage plant
• Lift, move, and carry liquid pails up to 50+ pounds, hand roll 600-pound drums onto drum cart
• Work in an environment with some exposure to odors and chemicals
• Proactive, efficient, accurate and organized
• Attention to detail
• Team worker and ability to work independently
• Multi-tasker
• Basic math, reading, writing skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to work without limitations and restrictions
• High school diploma required

Pay:

$21.50 - $23.50 per hour
