Job Description
Petroleum Technician
Petroleum TechnicianThe Petroleum Technician will need to have knowledge of underground/aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. This position is field-based and requires travel to project sites throughout Maryland and surrounding regions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations
- Complete assigned construction tasks efficiently while following instructions and project requirements
- Assist foremen, supervisors, and crew members with various job site activities as needed
- Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and storedJob Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in field construction, mechanical installation, or related field of work
- Experience in the pump and tank, and/or petroleum industries
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm
- Comfortable with local travel
