Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Operator for a contract opportunity in Wyandotte, MI. This role supports operations in a 24/7 Thermoplastic Polyurethane manufacturing environment and is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, industrial, chemical production, compounding, or processing experience. As a Production Operator, you will help keep production running safely and efficiently by handling raw materials, operating processing equipment, monitoring production activity, and packaging finished products. This opportunity offers steady hours, hands-on training, a team-oriented environment, and the potential for extension or hire. Key Responsibilities Select, charge, and mix raw materials according to established production procedures. Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. Package and label finished TPU products according to quality and specification requirements. Monitor equipment and production processes for irregularities and take appropriate action. Follow all safety, quality, productivity, and company procedures while working under time constraints. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support safe and consistent plant operations.
