Job Description
From written or verbal work instructions including blueprints, specification sheets, routing sheets, and any other production forms required by management, performs a variety of duties which include but are not limited to the following: operates the automatic Galvanizer, maintains solutions as required including replenishing Zinc levels, skimming the kettles and replenishing the Flux layer, continuously check processed chain to insure high quality, records necessary information on production forms, uses hand and power tools in performance of mechanical maintenance. Performs single link kettle chain repairs. Performs preventative and mechanical maintenance (i.e. Drossing) on the Galvanizing Cleaning equipment including tanks, chemical contents and other related devices using power tools as needed.
