Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Chemical Operators at Levels II and III to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining chemical processing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, laboratory procedures, and materials handling, with a commitment to adhering to safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative chemical production within a dynamic environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Manufactures product using BOM's, Batch sheets and SOP's, paying strict attention to safety directives, process and quality instructions and charge quantities as indicated. Conducts safe operation of all plant equipment including (but not limited to) forklifts, mixing tanks, reactors, pumps, homogenizers, vacuum pumps, milling equipment, etc. Records the process parameters on BOM's, batch & process sheets, monitors/controls batch reactions, reactor parameters and tanks levels using DCS/Panel Boards/meters/indicators Adjusts production processes/reactions as necessary to ensure safety and quality. Makes batch adjustments as directed. Troubleshoots process problems and takes corrective action. Seeks assistance when necessary. Takes corrective actions when alarm conditions exist. Takes actions necessary in an emergency to help minimize danger to personnel and the environment. Works overtime as necessary to assure operating & production needs are met and to ensure on-time delivery of materials to customers. Transfers/discharges product to packaging as required and labels as directed. Stages packaged material for transfer to warehouse. Loads/Unloads product from bulk and non-bulk trucks. Works safely, following all rules, regulations and policies. Ensures all work and surrounding areas are maintained using good housekeeping principles. Management Requirements:
2-3+ years as a Chemical Operator I or II or equivalent. Required. 2-3+ years of experience in batch manufacturing and reactions. Required. 2+ years of experience in DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and/or DeltaV. Required. Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent Required Must be able to lift 50 lbs and wear a respirator. Required. Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and education background verification. Required #ST101
Pay:
$25.58 - $30.00 per hour
