Hot Oil Operator

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have an acceptable MVR, valid Class A driver's license and Tanker Endorsement. Operate high-pressure pump and burner for heating fluids, using controls such as levers, pedals and buttons. Operate high-pressure pump to circulate hot oil or water down flow lines, tubing and casing to melt and remove paraffin build-up. Operate high-pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing. Observe equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions. Carry and layout hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the well head or battery. Connect and disconnect hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools. Follow safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment. Repair, maintain and adjust equipment often using hand tools.

Must possess the capacity to learn, adapt to change and become proficient quickly. Ability to manage stress, exercise self control, adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organization. Experience preferred but not required. Effective written and oral communication skills required. Ability to pass and background and drug screen. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
