Cleanroom Technician / Industrial Cleaning Technician - Night Shift Job Description This project-based role supports industrial cleaning and battery operations within a large manufacturing facility in Nevada. You will perform technical dust control cleaning in a cleanroom-like environment and provide manual labor support in a battery cell pad and shredding area. The position is hands-on, physically demanding, and requires strict adherence to safety protocols, consistent night shift availability, and the flexibility to move between workstreams based on site needs. Responsibilities Perform technical dust control cleaning in an industrial clean room-style environment, focusing on the removal of fine paint dust and overspray particles generated from powder coating operations. Operate intrinsically safe equipment such as pneumatic and specialty vacuums and Swiffer-type dust control tools to manage particulate levels. Clean floors, walls, surfaces, equipment, structural areas, and elevated or hard-to-reach spaces using manlifts as needed. Maintain strict compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements at all times while performing clean room and battery pad activities. Support battery cell pad and shredding operations by performing manual labor in outdoor or semi-enclosed areas. Shovel and handle materials associated with battery shredding and processing operations, including dirt, debris, and non-chemical industrial waste. Work safely around battery shredding and processing equipment, following all site-specific safety procedures and instructions. Sustain physical stamina during extended shifts, including repetitive lifting, shoveling, and standing in less controlled environments. Follow detailed safety procedures and protocols established by the site and Health & Safety team, including confined space procedures managed by the client's safety personnel. Adhere to scheduled night shift hours and maintain consistent attendance, including working 5-6 days per week and 48-60 hours per week as required. Adapt to changing daily scopes of work and shift assignments between dust control cleaning and battery cell pad activities based on project needs. Participate in required training, respirator fit testing, and safety briefings to maintain compliance with all regulatory and site requirements. Essential Skills OSHA 40 Hour

Certification. Full face respirator clearance and training, including the ability to wear a full face respirator for extended periods. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check that meets Tesla-level standards. Ability to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen. Demonstrated ability to work extended hours and consistent night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 5-6 days per week. Strong reliability and consistent attendance in previous roles. Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and instructions in an industrial environment. Physical capability to perform manual labor, including shoveling, lifting, standing, and working in demanding conditions for extended shifts. Comfort working in industrial, non-climate controlled environments, including outdoor and semi-enclosed areas. Flexibility to support both technical dust control cleaning and heavier battery cell pad work as project needs change. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior industrial cleaning experience in manufacturing, plant, or industrial settings. Experience working in manufacturing or plant environments with strict safety protocols. background in dust control, environmental services, or similar technical cleaning operations. Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) in controlled environments. Experience as a clean room technician or in cleanroom-like environments, even if non-sterile. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a large industrial facility. Strong adaptability and willingness to adjust to changing workloads, scopes, and project phases. Work Environment The role is based at a large industrial manufacturing facility in Nevada and operates exclusively on a night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will typically work 5-6 days per week, averaging 48-60 hours, with schedules provided one week in advance. The work environment includes a technical dust control clean room-style area and a battery cell pad and shredding area. The clean room area is non-sterile and focuses on dust and particulate control rather than chemical or pharmaceutical processes. The battery cell pad and shredding area involves heavier, dirtier industrial work in outdoor or semi-enclosed spaces, with exposure to dirt, debris, and non-chemical industrial waste. You will work in an industrial factory setting with strict safety protocols and no chemical processing exposure. Full face respirators are mandatory for clean room activities and used frequently on the battery cell pad. Disposable coveralls and all required PPE are provided, and strict PPE compliance is expected at all times. Confined space work may occur, but it is managed directly by the on-site Health & Safety team. The environment is often non-climate controlled, and you should be comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions while using industrial equipment such as pneumatic vacuums, specialty vacuums, dust control tools, and manlifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sparks, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
