This entry-level, part-time position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in chemical productionno prior experience required. Youll receive comprehensive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Responsibilities Measure, mix, and combine raw materials and ingredients according to established formulas and safety procedures to produce industrial chemical products Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to maintain adequate stock Place orders for materials and supplies using company software and email systems Track production output and update inventory records accurately and promptly Follow all safety protocols, including the use of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and storage area Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding order status, delivery timelines, and inventory needs Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills, including comfort with email and inventory/ordering software Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with production work Willingness to wear required PPE (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.) as needed Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Previous experience in chemical production, manufacturing, or a related industrial setting is a plus, but not required Compensation $20$30 per hour , depending on experience. Benefits PPE and safety equipment provided On-the-job training with an experienced technician Opportunity for full-time employment with additional benefits, including health insurance, IRA match, and paid time off (PTO) if the position transitions to 30+ hours per week Offered compensation: $20/hr - $30/hr Experience and License Requirements Manufacturing (optional)
