Priming Full Job Description Summary:
The dip molding process is ideal for polymer products such as cannulae, stethoscope tubing, grips, handles, and more. Aptyx has a 60-year legacy as a pioneer in dip molding and is one of the largest, most diverse dip molders in North America. The Dip Operator supports daily customer service, order processing, and operational activities within a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. The Dip Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring dipping equipment used in the production of medical devices, industrial parts, or coated products. This role ensures that all dipping, curing, and finishing processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures, regulatory standards, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
o Operate, monitor, and adjust dip molding or coating equipment to ensure consistent product quality. o Machines operate on timed cycles, consistency and following specific process is critical. o Prepare dipping solutions, molds, or substrates according to standard operating procedures. o Operating secondary punch presses. o Applying primer to parts to ensure proper bonding. o Inspect parts for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and product specifications. o Using visual methods as well as calipers and scales to check measurements. o Record production data accurately, including batch records, lot numbers, and process parameters. o Perform in-process quality checks and document results as required. o Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material issues, or process deviations.
Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Lift up to 40lbs Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat and cold.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced and deadline-driven setting. Manufacturing environment. Facility is not climate controlled.
Additional Information:
May require occasional overtime and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
