Job Description

Production Operator Reports to:
Shift Supervisor or Assistant Shift Supervisor Job Profile Summary:
Under direct supervision perform duties that assist in the production of finished chemical products. These duties include transporting, loading, and unloading chemical products and raw materials, drumming out products from reactors and blenders, collecting product samples and delivering them to the QC lab for analysis, acquiring basic computer skills, assisting in the collection, labeling and disposal of waste. Manipulate loads weighing from 200-500 lbs. Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather conditions. Other duties as assigned by the Operators or Sr. Operators that will facilitate the production of quality products in a safe manner. You will perform basic mathematical calculations. SAP Roles and Responsibilities:
Ability to read and interpret routine instructions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to drive forklift and obtain certification.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Familiarity with Microsoft office programs. Safety conscious Able to work with in a team production atmosphere. Must be able to work a shift change position 4 days on, 4 days off. 12 hour shifts 5:30 am - 5:30 pm and 5:30 pm to 5:30 am rotating shift Mechanically inclined Mathematical aptitude
Self-motivated Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience with Chemical Processing operations Certified forklift exp SAP Knowledge Periodic overtime is mandatory Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather conditions There is no travel associated with this job
Highly Qualified Candidate:
2+ Years' Experience in a similar manufacturing environment with SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills.
