Job Description

Job Summary:
Solida Labs, Inc. is seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our expanding team in Eugene, Oregon. We are a leader in processing hemp biomass into premium distillate and isolate, and we are looking for top-tier talent to help us maintain and grow our state-of-the-art facility.
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
This is not intended to be an exhaustive list, but rather is a primer for what our candidates can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis in this role. Assist with extraction duties related to the processing of hemp material such as packing the extractors, running the extraction machines, daily cleaning, and maintenance Blend multi-component formulas and feed materials into production machinery Assist with packaging duties such as labeling, capping, applying stickers, and shipping the product Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse Assist with duties relating to data collection and labeling batch records Operate Laboratory and Industrial equipment. Promote & maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the production area and facility by routinely cleaning equipment, including glassware and tools, components, and infrastructure Maintain batch production records in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
Skills and Abilities:
Experience working in GMP regulated production environments is a plus. Experience with applied chemistry, R&D, statistics, and experimental design. Working knowledge of unit operations used in the food and chemical industry. A high degree of attention to detail and self-directed Effectively manage time by balancing multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends depending on production schedules Work effectively and cooperatively with others Must be able to meet production standards in a fast-paced work environment by performing tasks quickly and efficiently Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials Documentation and computer skills Manufacturing quality adherence and thoroughness in carrying out standard operating procedures (SOP's) Mathematic and measurement skills Ability to keep detailed records Ability to run various physical laboratory/field tests necessary for product consistency Mechanical troubleshooting HVAC/boiler operation
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds Work outdoors in weather typical of Oregon. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours) with frequent kneeling and bending. Ability to use PPE when working with airborne particles, chemicals, and high noise levels. Schedule:
40 hours per week. 8-hour shift 3:30-Midnight or 11:30pm - 8:00am Monday to Friday and weekends as necessary
