In this role, the Chemical Operator will be responsible for initiating and controlling the manufacturing of chemicals in the chemical plant. This includes charging raw materials, monitoring batches, and maintaining accurate records.

Work Hours:
Rotating 12-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with day/night rotation every two weeks and every other weekend off.

Production Supervisor Team Dynamics:
This role works on a small team of Chemical Operators, alongside Maintenance Personnel and any other staff in the facilities.
Certifications:
Forklift Certification is highly desired.

Previous experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment and a great understanding of safety protocol. The availability to work in a 24/7 facility is a must.

What you'll be doing: Initiates chemical manufacturing processes in reactors, ensuring precise adherence to standardized formulas and protocols. Oversees raw material charging, batch monitoring, and equipment operation, including forklift usage, in accordance with company SOPs. Performs packaging, filtration, and materials handling with attention to minimizing contamination and ensuring product integrity. Conducts minor maintenance and inspection tasks following safety checklists to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Engages in the company's safety program regularly and adheres to all safety protocol and guidelines and reports any safety hazards immediately. Participates in small, self-directed teams during operational hours. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues efficiently. Background you'll need: Understanding of chemical processes and reactions. Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chemical manufacturing. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a chemical plant. Troubleshooting skills to identify and address equipment issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of the Internet.
