Anticipated Start Date May 4, 2026 Location Mount Bethel, PA Type of Employment Contract to Hire Employer Info Our client is a world leader in gases, technologies and services used in many industries and for Health purposes. Oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen are essential small molecules for life, matter, and energy. All roles have an opportunity for career advancement once full time with our client and provide excellent benefits to their full-time Job Summary The Production Technician is responsible for operating chemical processes and supporting production activities in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Job Description Operate and monitor chemical production processes to meet quality and production targets Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to ensure continuous operations Prioritize daily tasks in coordination with Production Leads and Supervisors Participate in and promote a strong safety culture, including monthly safety meetings Follow and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials Assemble, disassemble, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment Issue safe work permits and adhere to all safety protocols Complete all required training and support cross-training efforts Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration Skills Required Work in warehouse, clean room, and production environments Exposure to hazardous chemicals (corrosive, toxic, flammable, water-reactive) Required PPE includes steel-toe boots and flame-resistant (FR) clothing (provided) Operate forklifts and occasionally work at heights up to 30 feet Lift up to 50 lbs Must be clean-shaven to safely wear respiratory equipment Ability to wear full-face respirators, SCBA, and encapsulated suits Must pass medical and physical evaluations for respirator use Experience in manufacturing or chemical processing environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High level of hazard awareness and commitment to safety Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to learn technical processes quickly in a dynamic environment Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure
Preferred:
2+ years of experience in process operations or chemical handling Experience with mechanical or electrical systems Knowledge of analytical processes and root cause analysis Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and 5S principles Computer proficiency Education High School Diploma or GED required Associate's Degree in Applied Science or related field Pay Rate $18 - $22 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors) G.A.S.
