Button Energy is seeking a full time Petroleum Dispatcher with the following schedule and job responsibilities: Schedule 1: Monday Tuesday 7a-7p Wednesday 7a-12p and Saturday and on-call rotating Schedule 2: Wednesday 12p-7p, Thursday-Friday 7a-12p, Saturday and on-call rotating

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
The Petroleum Dispatcher handles all aspects of transport load deliveries; this includes receiving orders, communicating with drivers and customers, identifying proper sourcing, purchasing fuel and invoicing customers, and developing and analyzing routes. This position will also be responsible for making sound decisions to direct, re-direct, and/or stop all processes of fuel as needed per the demand of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Evaluates and distributes work to drivers in a fair and equitable manner to meet driver and customer expectations. Evaluates workload vs. available hours of service to ensure DOT compliance for driver workforce. Monitor billing to ensure that pickup charges/fuel fees and delivery charges are accurately posted. Monitor customer site inventories and allocations. Records customer order and process BOL daily. Create/build loads within our dispatch system. Make decision and executes orders and direction appropriately for accidents and/or incidents (product mixes or spills) Create and support an environment of mutual cooperation and communication between the dispatch office and all other departments. Comply and maintain a Safety Culture; ensure all transportation operations comply with all facility, company, state and federal policies and procedures along with all health and safety polices and procedures. Records customer orders, dispatches the order to the Drivers, and process BOL daily. Put forward a friendly, professional face when dealing with our customers along with our drivers and fellow employees. Communicate with drivers regarding customer's special load requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. Maintain calm demeanor and think clearly in difficult or stressful situations. Technologically skilled, with the ability to quickly learn new programs. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of petroleum dispatching preferred but not required. Minimum of two years' experience using Microsoft Office products: i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel, preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to walk frequently for extended periods of time. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of the position can be met. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs.
WORK ENVIROMENT
Works in well-lighted and ventilated areas. Subject to frequent interruptions Occasionally works in a high noise area. May be exposed to various chemicals, odors, fumes, temperatures, heat, and hazardous conditions.
