Job Description
Job Title:
Production Technician Pay 20 - 23 an hour Shift 6am to 230pm Lakeland, FL Must have experience reading tape measure, using hand tools and working in a manufacturing environment. Bonus if you have operated both a forklift and manufacturing machinery. Job Description As a Mixing Technician, you will be responsible for manually weighing ingredients according to the batch sheet or work order, assembling molds for chemical pouring, and ensuring the proper sealing of molds using silicone endcaps. You will also be tasked with pouring chemicals into the molds, overseeing the cooking process in the oven, and transporting the final product to the finishing department. Responsibilities Manually weigh ingredients on a scale to the proper amount according to the batch sheet or work order. Assemble the mold that the chemicals will be poured into. Seal the mold with silicone endcaps, using a tape measure to select the correct size. Use a measuring tape to ensure proper fittings. Pour chemicals into the mold, oversee the cooking process in the oven, and let the product rest and cool. Transport the final product to the finishing department. Essential Skills Experience with machine operation and batch processing. Ability to read work orders and batch sheets. Skill in weighing ingredients accurately. Capability to assemble molds for chemical pouring. Forklift operation and lifting up to 50 pounds. Attention to detail and mechanical inclination. Experience with measuring tools, especially tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Experience in urethane or chemical manufacturing/processing. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is set in a manufacturing/shop environment with a shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime available during the week. You will be paid for 40 hours regardless of work completion, with a maximum of 48 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
