The Production Engineering Technician position is the heart of the staff and serves a critical role on the engineering team. The position is responsible for working directly with the engineering leadership and staff to lead the development of tools and processes for aligning data and operations. The position will also be responsible for working directly with outside teams and 3rd party vendors to assist the engineering staff with driving operational success. The Engineering Technician position is both a challenging and rewarding position that will leave the right individual with a sense of purpose and job satisfaction daily. responsibilities include but arenot limited to: Provide project Milestone Updates / Project Planning (Team Internal and External). Financial Milestone Data Collection / Transparency. Preventative Maintenance Data Collection and Alignment. Operations (Production / Water) Planning Team Interface. Plan to Pay Management and Coordination. Document Control Program Coordination. Equipment Management / Tracking / Identification. Specification & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Maintenance and Coordi.nation. Environmental Health and Safety Data Collection. Management of Change (MOC) Program Data Management. Assist with Asset Integrity Program Data Management. Act as the Vendor Compliance Team Lead.
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum) is preferred or at least 3-5 years of related experience in the industry. Valid driver's license required. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include use of queries / Pivot Tables / VLookup coupled with a basic understanding of Smartsheet / Power Bi / Coding Languages (R / SQL / Python). Understanding of process flow & equipment used for separation of fluids in common oil and gas production. Basic understanding of
ASME & ANSI
specs and standards. Interpersonal skills is a must
  • will be working with a variety of different personalities on the team.
Comfortability with speaking in front of small (8 to 10) and medium (10 to 30) people providing transparency into team metrics and milestones. Extreme ownership mentality. Able to take complex workflows/ideas and communicate them concisely to achieve results. Self-starter / team player. Able to work independently as needed and solve basic problems with no guidance. Comfortable with working behind a computer for a majority of the workday.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Prior experience in the oil and gas industry (at least 3-5 years if not degreed). Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience to include Vizio. Familiarization with: Scada Systems AutoCAD Smartsheet Salesforce Power Bi Coding Languages (R / SQL / Python) GIS Displays traits such as: Teamplayer
