The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday from 5:00pm to 5:30am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.Job Description:
The Production Test Technician II is responsible for the testing, validation, and qualification of complex electronic and electro‑mechanical systems within a fast‑paced production environment. This role requires strong technical testing abilities, data interpretation skills, and the capability to make precise mechanical and testing adjustments based on results. The technician will work from schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions to accurately test microscopic probe products using specialized electro‑mechanical test equipment. As an expert-level contributor, this position also serves as a technical resource for the assembly and testing teams, providing training and contributing to process improvements that enhance yield and workflow efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Perform high‑frequency response testing for probe test products, including testing of cores and custom PCB designs and configurations. Conduct RF response profiling on core and PCB products, including inductance measurement, frequency response analysis, reflectance length matching, and component integration. Perform all technical duties of Test Technician I and II roles as required. Attain expert tester level proficiency and train other technicians on test processes, methodologies, and best practices. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to increase throughput, enhance yield, and optimize workflow. Prioritize testing activities to maximize output according to product run requirements, testing processes, and due dates. Monitor and maintain quality metrics for testing areas; address assembly or testing quality trends and issues. Read and interpret assembly documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and technical drawings. Perform simple mathematical calculations, including tolerance stack‑ups, to validate component specifications. Collect, organize, and evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to ensure product quality and process stability. Set up and operate specialized equipment per documented procedures. Safely handle chemicals, solvents, and adhesives while adhering to safety rules and material-handling protocols.Work Environment:
Ability to work continuously inside a clean‑room environment with chemical exposure while wearing protective clothing (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.). Ability to work at a microscope for extended periods—up to 80% of a shift depending on assigned station. Ability to read and follow work instructions and complete written and computer‑based documentation. Ability to push and pull 10-15 lbs. Ability to lift materials weighing approximately 6 lbs. on a routine basis.Skills:

This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $18.80 and $24.68 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
