Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Operator for a role offering a pay range of $24.38 to $26.25 per hour. This position follows a rotating shift schedule, with hours running from 7:45a to 8p and 7:45p to 8a. Primary Duties Operate a forklift to move materials. Manage process computer systems to produce batches. Execute chemical pour-ups according to provided instructions. Package and bag products weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform fundamental chemical blending tasks. Conduct necessary physical and chemical analysis at the monitoring station during production. Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, logs, and computer entries. Support the facility safety culture through active participation. Handle and lift various raw materials as needed. Manually maneuver drums weighing under 50 pounds. Help drive process innovation and efficiency improvements. Engage in team meetings and daily maintenance discussions. Execute equipment shutdowns following standard operating protocols. Complete additional tasks as directed by the production manager. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving production setting to ensure deadlines are met. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication abilities. Physically capable of climbing stairs, lifting 50 pounds consistently, and passing a medical exam for full-face respirator use. Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems. Preferred Qualifications Advanced computer literacy. Previous background in chemical or industrial manufacturing. Certified forklift operation experience. Familiarity with SAP software. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Capacity to collaborate within a team or work autonomously. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities effectively.
