  • 8a (Rotating Shift)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
¦ Operation of a forklift. ¦ Operates process computer to manufacture batches. ¦ Complete pour up of chemicals with directions. ¦ Fill/Bag product up to 50 pounds. ¦ Basic chemical blends. ¦ Performs physical/chemical testing in local monitoring station as required during chemical processing. ¦ Fills out necessary batchsheets, computer sheets, records, logs, and charts. ¦ Actively participates in plant safety program/process. ¦ Lifting various raw materials. ¦ Manhandling drums less than 50 pounds. ¦ Actively contributes to process improvement and innovation. ¦ Attends ft actively participates in all process meetings, Daily Team Maintenance Meetings, etc. ¦ Responsible for shutdown of equipment in accordance with established procedures. ¦ Performs other assignments as required by the production manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • REQUIRED ¦ High School Diploma.
¦ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. ¦ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ¦ Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, pass medical clearance and wear a full-face respirator. ¦ Computer experience, windows-based software.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PREFERRED ¦ High level of computer skills.
¦ Prior experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment. ¦ Forklift experience. ¦ SAP experience. The successful candidate will have strengths in the following: ¦ Ability to multi-task. ¦ Ability to work as a team and independently. ¦ Self-direction and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Equipment Troubleshooting Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Mixing Blending Forklift Licensed Equipment Repair & Maintenance Machine Setups for Production Runs Machines & technologies you'll use: Sit-Down Forklift Industrial Blender / Mixer
