Job Description
Innophos is seeking a direct hire Acid Plant Treater to work in our Nashville location. The Acid Plant Treater has the overall responsibility to maintain the safety, quality, and environmental effectiveness of the departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the overall efficient operation of the chemical production process in one of several production units. This includes understanding and maintaining records for safety, quality, housekeeping, environmental compliance, & production output, etc. Utilizes an HMI system to monitor process and storage tanks or hopper levels, understands and manages process operating parameters to ensure efficient operation, operates and troubleshoots all equipment and instrumentation, adjusts and cleans equipment, and records data on appropriate logs and spreadsheets, as well as in JDE E1 system (our ERP system) Depending on the process, this may require safely and efficiently unloading raw material railcars, packaging phosphoric or polyphosphoric acid into railcars, bulk trucks, totes, & varying sizes of drums, inspecting and maintaining process filters, mills, and sieving screens Moves pallets, containers, and equipment, throughout a restricted space, using a forklift Shift Rotating Shift
- 1st shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd shift (10:30 pm-6:30 am) Monday
- Sunday Initially assigned to 1st shift for training Required to rotate between all 3 shifts
