Job Description Eurofins Environment Radon Testing, a leader in radon test device manufacturing and analytical laboratory testing, is seeking to hire a full-time employee in the position of Production Technician. Radon gas is a naturally occurring radioactive gas which builds up to high concentrations in indoor environments and is the leading cause of lung cancer for nonsmokers. This position will support the analytical testing to issue lab results to our customers. The Production Technician will operate the "Radon Counter" within the laboratory to place test devices in analysis equipment. Once placed, the technician will be required to also initiate analytic testing and then remove the samples. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for operating the analysis equipment, "Radon Counter", required to test customer samples. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for initiating the testing and removing samples one testing has completed. The technician will produce target testing goals established for each assigned shift. Quality is key in this position; the technician will ensure that quality meets requirements and specifications with each test performed. The technician will need to process samples expeditiously to enable effective downstream operations. The technician will need to be able to stand for the duration of the shift. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma Ability to stand on feet for full 8 hour shift Ability to lift 25 lbs on a repeated basis Organized and methodical. Efficient and task focused. Reliable and consistent. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English. Additional Information The hours for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Pay Rate Range for this position is $18 / hour. Candidates within a commutable distance to Carrollton, TX are encouraged to apply.
