Full Job Description Company Description:
Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies. Why Join Us? Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment Growth potential within the company What you'll do: Ensure all assigned machines are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably, according to recommended operating guidelines via performing necessary mechanical adjustments. Ensure high quality products are always produced. Monitoring, reporting and optimizing process parameters Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or process issues accordingly. Support changeover activities if necessary Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before using them. Monitor material waste and report inconsistencies. Following housekeeping rules and keeping the work area clean according to the cleaning plan Perform other duties as assigned What we're looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred Basic computer skills Demonstrated mechanical ability.
