We specialize in high-quality installations using premium brands like Tesla, SolarEdge, Enphase, and Fox ESS, delivering reliable power, lower energy bills, and outage protection for Gulf Coast families. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Battery Technician with hands-on experience in residential and light commercial energy storage systems. In this role, you will perform installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge, Enphase IQ Battery, and Fox ESS battery systems. You will work closely with our installation and service teams to ensure systems perform optimally and customers receive outstanding support. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission Tesla Powerwall, SolarEdge, Enphase, and Fox ESS battery storage systems, including integration with solar inverters and home electrical panels. Perform system diagnostics, firmware updates, performance testing, and optimization using manufacturer-specific software and tools. Troubleshoot and repair battery systems, inverters, and related components (electrical, communication, and mechanical issues). Conduct routine maintenance visits, safety inspections, and warranty-related service work. Educate customers on system operation, monitoring apps (Tesla App, Enphase Enlighten, SolarEdge Monitoring, Fox ESS), and best practices for energy storage. Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, manufacturer guidelines, local permitting requirements, and company safety standards. Document work completed, including photos, test results, and service reports in our CRM/field management system. Collaborate with sales, design, and project management teams for seamless project handoffs. Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and tool inventory; manage parts and materials efficiently. Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and certification programs.
