Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate chemical production units and supporting equipment to manufacture resins and catalysts
- Maintain reliable plant operations by properly operating all plant equipment and completing Preventative Maintenance work orders and safety equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate production unit logs, production batch work orders, time sheets, and inventory records
- Assist with the preparation of shipments and receiving chemicals or supplies
- Perform routine laboratory tests on process samples as needed
- Assist in the review, creation, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in daily Shift Team meetings to review any EHS items, Quality, maintenance activities, and the production schedule
- May be assigned additional duties to support overall site needs and business growth plans
Job Qualifications:
- May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
