We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years' experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Industrial role. We are seeking candidates with at least 1 year Forklift Driving experience. Paint, Coatings or Chemicals Manufacturing is a plus. Axalta Coating Systems ( Company Website Link )
Job Description:
o Complete daily assigned batches on-time as scheduled. Operate forklift to pull/pick raw materials and intermediates based on the batch assignment. Operate pump equipment to transfer raw materials, intermediates and finished goods into the appropriate mixing tanks, vessels, or containers. Operate mixing equipment to combine raw materials. Operate RF Scan tools to locate and consume raw materials from inventories. Clean/Maintain assigned production tools and equipment. Complete work orders to repair/replace tools and equipment. Clean and maintain assigned production zone. Promote and demonstrate all Axalta workplace safety standards, requirements, and best practices. Ensure necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is available and in-use at all times. Identify, document and correct site safety concerns (via near-miss reporting) Utilize RF scanner to consume materials into batches.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to adequately perform each essential duty required of the position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 2 years Manufacturing, Industrial or Plant experience Detail oriented and able to deliver high quality and accurate work. Excellent organization skills (able to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and execute). Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Strong work ethic and an earnest willingness to learn and adapt to continuous changes. Ability to read, write, and communicate. Read, understand, and interpret work-orders as related to assigned tasks.
