The purpose of the Production Technician is to assist with the manufacturing of all products of Biomic Sciences. It is important to have enough employees to produce in a manner that complies with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Production employees are detail orientated, punctual, and able to work with others on a fast-moving assembly line in a clean and sanitary environment. As a production technician, you are also required to be cross trained as a packaging assistant to ensure business continuity and to support redundancy if or when needed. Production Manufacture all products of
Biomic Sciences:
Mix, bottle, cap, and label finished product while adhering to proper protocols, safety requirements, and per Quality Control standards. Perform manufacturing of proprietary ingredient utilizing large mixing vessel and specialty equipment. Monitor automated machinery for safety, proper operation, and quality results. Properly complete any required Quality Control documentation. Assist in production line changeovers, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
Keep facility clean:
Clean and sanitize equipment and bottling room per Quality Control protocols and standards. This includes bottling equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, mixing vessels, tools, utensils, and mixing tanks. Properly and safely handle, store, and use all cleaning chemicals.
Package product:
Assemble boxes and totes when needed. Properly fill and seal packaging and totes. This can include placing finished product bottles in cartons with a seal or the completed finished product in half or whole cases, etc.
General Warehouse:
Safely move boxes, totes, bottles, caps, and components using a pallet jack and forklift (company training provided). May occasionally be asked to assist the Packaging Department assembling half and whole cases, bundles, or any other prepackaged product. Operate floor sweep and cleaning machine throughout warehouse as needed. Be able to safely lift 50lbs + as needed
