$32/hr to $35/hr We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a high-volume Sterile Processing Department in Everett, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing experience and strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, decontamination, sterilization, tray assembly, and specialty equipment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment Assemble surgical trays and case carts according to preference cards and procedural requirements Process loaner and consignment trays and surgical instruments Perform steam sterilization and monitor sterilization processes Utilize biological and chemical indicators for sterilization monitoring Perform Immediate-Use Steam Sterilization (IUSS) when required Perform high-level disinfection and manual cleaning of surgical equipment Reprocess flexible endoscopes, scopes, and probes according to established procedures
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required
Certification:
CBSPD OR IAHCSMM/HSPA
