Furnace Tech 3
Location:
Vancouver, WA Pay:
$24 - $30/hour
DOE Schedule:
Graveyard Shift (11;00pm-7:30am)
Who We Are:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Furnace Tech 3 to join their production team in Vancouver, WA. This role supports advanced manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Load, unload, run, and monitor industrial furnaces Perform minor furnace maintenance and troubleshoot process issues Track production priorities and reduce bottlenecks Monitor product quality using SPC and improvement techniques Operate additional production equipment including powder presses and precision measuring tools Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD drawings, and schematics Complete data entry using Excel and SAP Support engineering projects and production improvements Train team members and assist with process improvements Maintain accurate production records and safe work practices What's In It for

Have:
High school diploma or equivalent 6+ years of technician experience Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Experience with measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and multi-meters Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods Ability to lift up to 51 lbs Strong computer and data entry skills Ability to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed
The Musts:
Eligible to work in an ITAR environment Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Experience troubleshooting production or furnace-related equipment Ability to train and mentor other employees
Preferred:
Experience with SAP and Excel Knowledge of SPC and continuous improvement processes Experience supporting engineering projects Cross-training in manufacturing or production operations
