Madison, Wisconsin Chemical Analysis Division How Will You Make an Impact?: The Lead Test Technician position will be responsible for the alignment and testing of various complex scientific instruments to support the production goals of a work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement! Responsibilities- Complete alignment and testing of assemblies and instruments to ensure they meet all quality standards while frequently exceeding productivity goals.
- Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.
- Possesses the ability to effectively work across multiple products and production cells. Brings valuable knowledge to help NPI launches.
- Communicates effectively with team members, other support functions, and leadership. Contributes and influences others toward a positive team culture. Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, or production setting. Preferred Experience
- Associates or bachelor's degree in related field.
- Progressive experience with test result analysis in manufacturing and troubleshooting quality issues.
- Demonstrated prior success as a trainer and peer leader.
