Since 2002, Quality Power Solutions (QPS) has provided end-to-end mission critical power solutions, including expert design, installation and maintenance of UPS systems and generators. QPS works with clients nationwide, and we maintain our Midwestern values by focusing on service, delivery, consistent performance, and the education of our customers on the many aspects of critical power. Our goal is being our customers trusted experts, so they don't have to worry about critical power and can focus on what they do best. QPS keeps backup power systems running smoothly, so business can power forward. In 2020, QPS invested in a separate e-commerce channel under the brand, Critical Parts Warehouse (CPW). This channel is dedicated to resale of existing QPS parts and components, as well as dropship sales of new product lines. Principal Duties & Responsibilities, Essential Job Functions Assisting Field Service Technicians in daily job duties, both in shop and on jobsites including: Battery replacement and maintenance services Rigging and moving UPS units Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment Provide support to Warehouse as needed. All other duties as needed or required.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential additional responsibility/duty satisfactorily and have a consistent history of a high-performance track record. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience with electronics or an electronic background a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Commitment to providing consistent and quality customer service. Proficient with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn additional business applications. Must be a team player who is committed to success having a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be able to travel, possess a valid U.S. driver's license. Must be able to pass a drug test, DOT physical, and background check upon hire. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds as required on a continual basis. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination, as required for the position.
