CNC Mill/Lathe Machinists - 2nd shift Precise Metal Products Phoenix, AZ Job Details 17 hours ago Qualifications Inspection tools Blueprint specification interpretation Aluminum Mid-level GD&T 3 years Task prioritization Precision measurement in machining Milling machines CNC machine setup Communication skills Full Job Description Job Description - CNC Mill & Lathe Machinists (2nd Shift) An aerospace manufacturing company in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking experienced CNC Mill & Lathe Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. We are looking for motivated self-starters with at least 3 years of precision machining experience .
Responsibilities:
Perform setup and initial program validation on CNC machines. Machine critical aerospace hardware, including castings and forgings, using materials ranging from aluminum to high-nickel alloys. Inspect and validate key features at CNC machines with strong attention to detail. Collaborate with engineering, programming, and management teams on machining optimization and fixture design. Apply strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC lathes with minimal supervision. Use precision measuring equipment with expert-level skills. Read and interpret aerospace blueprints accurately. Prioritize workload based on communication from QC and CNC managers. Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' CNC machining experience. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Positive attitude and proven ability to work as a team player. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and solve machining challenges.
