Job Description

Overview CAD Enterprises is an
AS9100 & ISO9001
certified aerospace manufacturer supporting precision machining and advanced manufacturing programs. We are currently hiring CNC Setup Machinists and CNC Operators to support growing production demands. We have multiple openings across 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shifts . Open Positions CNC Mill Machinists CNC Lathe Machinists EDM Machinists Setup/Programmer roles available Operator roles available Equipment You May Work On Matsuura Fanuc-controlled machines HAAS Nakamura Responsibilities Set up and calibrate CNC machines such as milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses to ensure accurate production runs. Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and write or modify G-code programs for various machining tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD files to produce precise parts. Operate and monitor CNC machinery, including Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring optimal performance throughout the shift. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment, supporting fabrication, assembly line processes, and packaging operations. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and/or EDM machines Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Make tool and offset adjustments as required Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards Support production, development, and continuous improvement activities Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience Ability to work in a precision manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85043 Must meet ITAR requirements (see below) ITAR Requirement This position requires access to information and technology subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
