manufacturing is a local aerospace and defense machine shop and we are in need of a skilled CNC Mill Setup machinist/operator. We are searching for a motivated highly skilled machinist with 3 yrs experience, in Aerospace Manufacturing. We need employees that are flexible with strong personal motivation for success, integrity, high energy, professional attitudes and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
3 plus years Mill setup experience required Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Cut jaws as needed for work holding and indicate in parts Inspect parts with precision measuring tools Minor CNC program edits as needed Fix issues that might occur during the shift Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain in-process work sheets
Requirements:
Proven experience as a machine operator/set up 3 years setup experience with cnc mills 3 and 4 axis machines Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, Travelers Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Position offered is full time, 4-10 hour shift 6:00am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday, Friday 6:00am-11:00am, 401K, Paid holidays, Paid vacation, Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage is available.
