CNC Plasma Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Plasma Cutter Operator to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing team in the Anaheim area. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of blueprint reading, plasma cutting equipment, and safe material handling practices to contribute to a high-quality production operation. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability and a consistent morning shift schedule. We are looking for a team player who is committed to the role and open to overtime as production demands require. Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to determine precise measurements to the 16th of an inch Operate EMI Plasma Tube Cutter, Python X, and Beam Cutter to perform cuts and required nesting as defined by the production schedule Run overhead crane and safely operate all assigned machinery in accordance with safety specifications Determine the weight of cut parts and raw material components to ensure safe and proper material handling and transitions Perform daily operational checks and complete thorough cleanup at the beginning and end of each shift Make minor program adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and meet production requirements Accurately complete production records, Quality Control sheets, and work orders in accordance with the production schedule Change all parts in the torch head and record progress in the job book Ability to read the operator's manual and produce parts correctly per specifications Ensure all workers in the area are properly trained and consistently adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

CNC PLasma Cutter High school diploma or GED equivalent required Advanced blueprint reading skills and strong problem-solving ability Intermediate math skills including fraction and decimal calculations Knowledge of various types of construction and/or heavy equipment operation is a plus Ability to meet production schedules and maintain consistent output quality Must be willing to work overtime as needed to support production demands

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
