We are located in Anaheim, CA and fabricate some of the most unique and impressive trade show exhibits in the industry. This is a direct-hire opportunity and ideal for someone with strong CNC machinery skills.

Summary:

This position is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision wood, metal, and plastic parts for assembly. The operator ensures material quality, maintains equipment, and follows safety procedures. These are the core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Load raw materials and tooling into machines 2. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications 3. Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, and speeds based on material specifications 4. Be able to prioritize jobs with CNC supervisor 5. Begin to learn the CNC operation process. Set up and maintain machine as well as prepare material for cutting 6. Assist in managing material stock levels 7. Supports project managers, engineers and other team members involved in the project 8. Must keep confidential information regarding client's sensitive material including: proto typing, graphics and nomenclature 9. Certified in forklift operation. 10. Must learn materials used - Wood, metal, plastics, etc. 11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 12. Weekends and OT mandatory when needed

Attendance:

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable. Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of the CNC process, CNC Machine, CNC programming and software preferred 3 yr. plus EnRoute
• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Forklift Certified preferred

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk for long periods of time. Exposure to loud noise must use ear plugs while working.
• Ability to lift materials 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
