Key Responsibilities Part Production:
Safely load raw stock, castings, or blanks into CNC lathes and vertical/horizontal mills, execute the program, and unload finished components.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and go/no-go gauges) to verify adherence to blueprint specifications.
Machine Monitoring:
Observe machine operations during production runs to detect potential malfunctions, unusual vibrations, or tool wear; report issues immediately to supervisors or lead machinists.
Part Finishing:
Perform secondary operations such as deburring, cleaning, and stamping finished metal or plastic parts.
Documentation:
Accurately record production counts, part inspection results, and downtime logs in the shop floor management system.
Shop Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to strict 5S and OSHA safety standards, including proper chip removal and coolant management.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Basic understanding of G-code and M-code structure (troubleshooting or minor offset adjustments are a plus, though not required). Previous experience working in an ISO-certified or aerospace/automotive manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
