This role is responsible for operating Citizen L12 Swiss-style CNC machines to produce small, high-precision components for business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Swiss-type lathes, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure consistent part quality and production efficiency. Essential Responsibilities Operate Citizen L12 Swiss-style CNC machines to manufacture precision components. Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications. Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, indicators) and document results. Follow setup instructions, work orders, and blueprints to ensure accurate production. Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and 5S standards. Communicate with setup personnel, programmers, and quality inspectors to resolve production issues. Perform routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support Lean manufacturing initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements High School diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred. 3-5 years of CNC machining experience, with at least 1-2 years operating Swiss-style CNC machines. Experience with Citizen R04 and/or R07 machines strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with CNC controls and machine interface operations. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime as needed. #
