POSITION SUMMARY

The CNC Machinist is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC lathe and milling machines, including the Doosan Puma

GT2600LM.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision parts in a safe and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain CNC lathe and CNC milling machines, including the Doosan Puma

GT2600LM

Check work center status at the beginning of each shift and report any issues to the supervisor in charge Review drawings, blueprints, instructions, and samples to ensure accurate production Perform own first article inspection and adjust as necessary Perform machine setups, edit CNC programs, and run production of parts Take precise measurements for cutting and shaping materials Select appropriate machines, tooling, and settings for each job Plan and execute the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments efficiently Monitor production processes and adjust feed rates and settings as needed to maintain quality standards Use precision gauges, micrometers, and other applicable measurement instruments to validate product compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience (required) Experience with CNC lathe and/or milling machines required Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently Commitment to safety and quality standards

SCHEDULE

Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day.
